The Korean Football Association made a ridiculous move by selecting and then removing a player from the Asian Games team after he was suspended for drunk driving,

leaving the Asian Games squad one player shy of 21 for the competition.

Hwang Sun-hong, the head coach of the Asian Games team, announced the final 22-man roster on Thursday, which included defender Lee Sang-min.

However, Lee Sang-min had been caught driving under the influence of alcohol while playing for his team three years ago and was fined 5 million won.

Fans were sure to criticize the decision.

It turns out that the Korean Football Association hadn’t even checked the selection rules.
