Korean baseball’s LG scored a thrilling come-from-behind victory over KIA, ending the latter’s four-game winning streak.
LG pulled off a 7-6 come-from-behind victory over KIA in a batting battle at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on Saturday. The team overcame a 1-5 deficit in the middle innings with three runs in the fifth and three runs in the sixth. LG was swept in a three-game series against KIA in Gwangju from Sept. 9-11. Starter Kim Yoon-sik struggled, allowing four runs on seven hits and one walk with one strikeout in three innings, but the team’s bats helped him avoid the loss.
